Hartford, CT based lino-sculpting maestro AJ Masthay has carved out a nice space in the poster community with vibrant bold prints across music genres, though most notably working with Phil & Friends and Dead & Co. across their tours. Starting as a Phish lot artist, AJ has always been a fan of the scene just as much as a powerful player and his open studio events are not to be missed!
Art Prints represent the non concert prints and include a wide range of styles and subjects. In some cases the art print represents a gig print with the show information excluded. There are also a number of portraits, mostly but not exclusively, of musicians, in some cases capturing more than just their likeness. You will also find some art covering pop culture subjects including The Simpsons, graffiti, and the good doctor, Hunter S. Thompson.
Our art pieces venture beyond the known and also comprise of some abstract and surrealistic pieces in addition to a few that may be considered more cartoony.
We like to say that we have something for everyone if you dig deep enough!
